New Dex1 Dev and changes to come.

Hi guys I am seraphim the dex1 dev. I thougth i would drop by and say hi. So you know hopefully by the beginning of this coming week we will have a noncep version of our current mod up. I am wiping most faction databases. Cipher, Legion, Sole, GoD, and Order are staying in. That is subject to change. If you, cod, or <A> were to want to come back as a faction once your numbers are reached then the faction can be added again, but we would really appreciate some coorporation and if you guys would be willing after the mod is up could there be a merge of all evil factions (if you are coming back that is) That way we can have one good one evil and one nuetral faction instead of tons of small factions. And so that makes sense I am offering an official merge to order and god to see if they can become one group. Thanks for listening. See ya guys.

Oh and about the controversy on my post on dex forums scar is being a dick for lack of a better term. I had never played around with nwscript before a few months ago but i have done tons of c and c++ coding so i know what im doing. I asked him for some basic walkthroughs when i started screwing around with nw script so i could familiarize myself with the set command list. Thanks again. See ya in game I hope.

A) No you will not be an admin here. Nice try.

B) Wiping our faction and mergin with all the evil ones ? Obviously you have no idea of what happend in the past and that is not a viable option. Looks up the history of all the factions one day when you're bored.

C) Good luck with Dex1, been needing a dev for awhile.

ok a) no offense meant then can someone on admin level open up a string for fixes to dex if you guys are considering coming back.

b) no i dont i didnt pay attention to the faction i wasnt in unless if i was fighting them. sorry again no offense meant. If you guys have 5 players that are willing to come back on the new mod or more that is obivously then you will still be considered an official faction on dex.

c) Yeah im happy i finally got in the position ive been waiting to work for a while now.

first off I pm'd shillow on msn to subnet ip ban Scar. get rid of his ass he can only cause problems....expecially since half of dex currently play's on his chop shop mod.

he is officially Ip banned. I dont know what that assholes problem is but it should be gone now.

subnet banning is done by using the first 5 digets only as they do not change it's usally the best way to get rid of unwanted garbage.

Im not bringing them back. They have been removed from the database. If I am mistaken in how i did it then I will redo it and make sure they are not there.

I have been told that High Lord Beanre of DW is your General. I never kept up with faction generals so whoever your General is can you please contact me. Thanks

merging all of the evil factions simply won't work, i understand that dv is very small atm and if we spread throughout the other factions it would mean larger wars. tbh if my clan mates and i joined the other factions of our individual choice then i'd be ok w/ that, merging us into a faction not of our choice is another matter entirely.

both legion and cipher bring individual aspects to dex, not to mention the complete overkill pvp we'd get if evil factions joined together, reality is gorder has few good players but many noobs; keep legion and cipher around for the health of the server and pvp. factions alignment should have no importance whatsoever, a faction's #'s and/or prowess in pvp should determine their right to be official.

atm i think only legion, cipher and gorder(they're always considered 1 faction anyway) have decent numbers. sole may have history but so did: <A>, FoD, Drakes, etc etc you get the idea they're too small as well; typically in the same boat as DV if u get my drift. the fact that shillow is sole may be a reason to overlook considering that he's helps keep dex afloat, that thought aside they are too small to be considered much of anything last time i checked.

we only allow access and admin to dv members, if you would like i can create a section of the forums that only dv members and yourself have access, you can post there and ask that i create polls.

i would also like to let you know that i'm also 1 of the new dm's and will be making suggestions and, along w/ the other active dm's, helping to revive dex. i need access to the dm section on dex forums as well as the other newly appointed dm's.
